@Puneri Tadka 1. Timings for ASBA 2. AMAZING customer service.. 3. Slow unblocking.. Few of the reasons i dropped the bank and went to a private bank 2 years back.. Good decision 👍👍

I have a doubt. I've been applying for many IPOs for the past 1-2 yrs.but haven't been allotted any shares. Some of my friends say it might be due to a mismatch between my bank account name and PAN name. Is that true? On my PAN, my father's name appears as my first name, which I believe is common for many of us. Could this be causing a problem? Please advise.
@IPOfever As long as the PAN number is matching..it should be fine..in Some account my name is not expanded, but in PAN name is expanded, which should be fine.
@IPOfever No, names mismatch does not really matter as of now. The rules are a bit relaxed in this matter. But, you going forward, you never know. So, please think of making them matching..
It might help.you in some other official work too..
@Vimal Garodia As per my physical PAN card, my name is in the correct format: Myname + Initial. However, in my demat account (which says as per PAN) and on the ITR portal, my father's name appears as my first name. I checked with a nearby PAN center, and they mentioned that this is common for many Indians and won't be a problem. Do I still need to get it corrected, bhai ?
DW bro mere PAN me bhi name mismatch like in PAN First Name + Father initial + surname where as in bank account it is as per adhar card Surname + First Name + Father's name
i have alloted many IPO since 2014, i have 5 account where the name is mismatched its only about luck
@Jindal jain 2nd October is a National Holiday. So, all Banks and Institutions remain closed. I don't think any Bank have unblocked the funds. My funds haven't been unblocked. Today funds will be unblocked. Good Night.

@Harsh Newguru ICICI bank.. 1. Service ... good 2. Normal private bank charges.. 3. Inded, very easy to use linked FD.. 4. Allotment, sure, on and off.. I am using it since a year and half..👍👍
@Harsh Newguru I use ICICI, it works fine..have got allotment also. I hardly contact RM's for any service, since most of things can be done online. LinkedFD's can be created online.. I did not fall into trap of wealth mgmt accounts or other investment things they offered) Note: I had primary account from long back, start of the year, created new accounts for spouse, minor and parents accounts here for IPO only. Branch is walkable also, worst case if needed.
@Rajiv RR @Vimal Garodia Thanks for reply. Dont wanna go with icici as seen many cgs that they don't open basic saving, not saving dpid and low interest. Anyone experience in RBL bank @MVP U have shared rbl bank screenshot is the service etc good as my branch rating is 2.4 ⭐
